Cooperative learning processes have been rediscovered and are being used throughout the country on every level. The basic elements of cooperative goal structure are positive interdependence, individual accountability, face-to-face interaction, and cooperative skills. The teacher's role in structuring cooperative learning situations involves clearly specifying lesson objectives, placing students in productive learning groups and providing appropriate materials, clearly explaining the cooperative goal structure, monitoring students, and evaluating performance. For cooperative learning groups to be productive, students must be able to engage in the needed collaborative skills. Cooperative skills and academic skills can be taught simultaneously. The implementation of cooperative learning needs to be coupled with the implementation of collaborative professional support groups among educators. Both the success of implementation efforts and the quality of life within most schools depend on teachers and other staff members cooperating with each other. Support for the program takes as careful structuring and monitoring as does cooperative learning. (JD)

PENYERAHAN SALINAN KEPUTUSAN PEPERIKSAAN BAGI PENERIMA BIASISWA KEMENTERIAN PELAJARAN MALAYSIA (KPM)

Adalah dimaklumkan pihak Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia (KPM) mewajibkan pelajar yang menerima tajaan biasiswa KPM untuk menghantar salinan keputusan peperiksaan terkini kepada pihak kementerian. Salinan keputusan hendaklah jelas dan disahkan oleh pensyarah. Pelajar juga boleh mencetak salinan keputusan peperiksaan melalui portal pelajar dan disahkan oleh pensyarah. 1. Mencadang kepada IPS untuk menganjurkan kursus / bengkel secara berkala demi manfaat pelajar pasca siswazah (seperti Kursus Induksi Pelajar Pasca Siswazah, penulisan tesis, analisis data, pengunaan software NVIVO & SPSS, penyediaan proposal, presentation skills, dll)

2. Mencadang kepada IPS untuk menyediakan original software untuk kegunaan pelajar pasca siswazah (Microsoft Office, SPSS, NVIVO, Endnote dll)

3. Mencadang kepada IPS untuk mengadakan peruntukan kepada pelajar pasca siswazah (master dan PhD) untuk membentang hasil kajian di international conference.


Semua ahli PPPS dialu-alukan untuk memberi cadangan/usul, sila berikan nama dan fakulti pencadang (untuk rekod PPPS sahaja)

Yuran

1. Yuran Pendaftaran: RM2 (sekali sepanjang pengajian)
2. Yuran Ahli: RM5 (setahun/2 semester sekali)
